Number words from one to million: learn how to express quantities in Morse code.
30 words
Numbers in Morse code follow a clean rule: every digit is exactly five symbols long, with dots and dashes following a consistent pattern (1 = .----, 2 = ..---, ..., 0 = -----). This fixed-length design makes numbers easier to count by ear than letters. Amateur radio signal reports (RST) are sent entirely in numbers, as are time stamps, frequency announcements, and grid-square locators. Number Morse is also the most common format for date-stamped jewelry and anniversary engravings: the date 2024 becomes ..--- ----- ..--- ....- on a ring band.
