Military Morse code is where the international standard was forged. From the Spanish-American War onward, every major navy and army adopted Morse code for tactical communication, with the U.S. military training tens of thousands of operators during WWII. Words like commander, soldier, victory, mission, signal, and codebook directly reflect operational vocabulary. Even today, U.S. Special Operations Forces train with Morse code as a backup communication method when electronic countermeasures jam voice traffic.
