Daily Morse ("the App") is operated by First Point Yazilim Limited Sirketi. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
The App operates entirely within Reddit's platform using Reddit's built-in storage (Devvit Redis). We collect and store the following data, all tied to your Reddit username:
| Data | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Reddit username | Identify your game state and leaderboard entries | Indefinite |
| Game statistics (total wins, streaks, fastest solve) | Track your progress and display stats | Indefinite |
| Daily scores | Daily leaderboard ranking | 30 days |
| Weekly scores | Weekly leaderboard ranking | 60 days |
| All-time scores | All-time leaderboard ranking | Indefinite |
| Earned badges | Achievement tracking | Indefinite |
| Language preferences | Polyglot badge tracking (unique locales used) | Indefinite |
The App uses your browser's localStorage to save your current game progress and UI preferences (language, intro-seen flag). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to any server. Reddit clears this data on each app version update.
When you tap "Share to Reddit," the App posts a comment under the game post on your behalf using Reddit's API (with your identity). This comment is public and subject to Reddit's Content Policy. You can delete your own comments at any time through Reddit.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. All data resides within Reddit's infrastructure (Devvit Redis) and is accessible only through the App.
Leaderboard scores expire automatically (daily: 30 days, weekly: 60 days). User statistics and badges are retained indefinitely. To request deletion of your data, contact us at [email protected] with your Reddit username.
The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Reddit's own age requirements apply.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
